Every symptom tells a story — your job is to interpret it.

This focused session helps nursing students strengthen their ability to assess, interpret, and plan care for patients with neurological conditions.
You’ll work through the real-world case of Mr. L.R., a 45-year-old police officer who suffered a major stroke following a motor vehicle accident.

Once registered, you’ll receive your Neurological Care Plan Workbook within one week. It includes the full scenario, assessment data, and guided activities. Students are expected to complete all workbook activities before class time to prepare for in-depth discussion and case analysis.

In This Class, You Will:

  • Identify subjective and objective data from a neurological assessment

  • Review neurological assessment techniques and proper documentation

  • Map clinical manifestations to appropriate nursing diagnoses

  • Discuss multiple nursing diagnoses relevant to the case
