Nursing Care Plans for Beginners
Nursing care plans can feel overwhelming when you are first learning how all the pieces fit together. Nursing Care Plans for Beginners is a practical, foundational course designed to break the process down into manageable steps and help you understand how the different components of a nursing care plan connect.
The course guides you through the nursing care planning process, beginning with assessment and progressing through nursing diagnosis, goals, interventions, evaluation, and an introduction to prioritization.
You’ll explore subjective and objective data, physical assessment, selected assessment tools and grading systems, types of nursing diagnoses, using NANDA-I, related factors, goal-writing principles, nursing interventions and rationales, and evaluation.
Rather than simply watching videos, you’ll have opportunities to apply what you learn through 13 learning activities. A continuing patient scenario is used throughout the course to help you connect concepts and see how the different parts of a nursing care plan come together.
Some activities are completed directly on the course dashboard, while selected activities are completed using Google Docs, allowing you to receive personalized feedback on your work.
